International Day - February 1

Dear Families,
Our traditional "International day" event will be held on Friday, February 1st, 2019.
It is one of the events the kids enjoy most in the school year. Both lower and upper school are involved in a day celebrating our different cultures, sharing the traditional foods we love, and taking part in activities from around the world.
There are two main different ways parents can get involved - taking part in the food fair, and/or running activity for the lower school in the afternoon.
How to support the Food Fair
The food fair is held in the school canteen, with each participating country taking a table, which they can decorate in their country theme (using flags or pictures, for example). The country group provides samples of typical traditional foods, which the lower school and upper school come to taste in two separate sessions.
How to support the lower school activity
In the afternoon the lower school go in groups to take part in a series of activities from around the world, run by parents. These could include learning a dance, making a craft, listening to a story, or watching a film. These sessions are supported by upper school kids as needed
PTA will help by providing all the needed support from ideas to supplies. Don't miss an opportunity to let others get a glimpse of your home country.
This event only works with support from a really wide range of people - please email us if you are able to contribute in any way pta@ise.edu.ee
